How Krishna Library apps update
The iOS and Android apps update through the App Store and Google Play. Turn on automatic updates on your device, or update Krishna Library from the store listing.
How updates work
Krishna Library for iPhone, iPad, and Android is installed from the App Store and Google Play. New versions arrive the same way: the store delivers them. Krishna Library does not replace the app in the background outside those stores.

Turn on automatic updates (recommended)
When automatic updates are on, the store installs new versions when your device allows it (often on Wi-Fi). You do not need to open Krishna Library to start that process.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps, then App Store.
- Turn App Updates on.

Android
- Open the Google Play app.
- Tap your profile picture.
- Tap Settings, then Network preferences, then Auto-update apps.
- Choose an option such as Over Wi-Fi only or Over Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Update Krishna Library now
iPhone and iPad
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your photo or account button.
- Tap App Updates.
- Tap Update next to Krishna Library, or Update All.
Android
- Open Google Play.
- Tap your profile picture, then Manage apps & device.
- Under Updates available, tap See details.
- Tap Update next to Krishna Library, or Update all.
After an update, reopen Krishna Library and sign in with the same email you use on krishnalibrary.app.
What this does not do
- It does not change how you install the app the first time — see Install iOS or Android app.
- It does not add books to your library. Purchases and codes still use the website and redemption.
- It does not update the website. The site at krishnalibrary.app is separate from the store apps.
If the app still looks old
- Confirm you opened the official Krishna Library listing (publisher BBT), not a similarly named app.
- Check that automatic updates are on, then wait for the store to finish installing.
- Sign out of the app and sign in again with the same email.
